LEHIGH VALLEY MUSIC AWARDS 2011
Blues singer Bev Conklin, a perennial favorite at the awards, also was a big winner on the night, taking home awards for Best All-Around Performer. She also won Best Blues Vocalist and Best Female Vocalist on the fans and industry ballots, all for the second year in a row, and one of five special Directors Awards for dedication and service to the Valley music community.

...featured Bev Conklin on vocals, accompanied by bassist Nick Franclik and Wayne Smith, who handled not only the guitar but a bass drum pedal. Conklin belted out originals and covers and reminded us why some locals refer to her as Queen of the Blues.
